The location was superb, close to the beach and attractions like Sewerby Hall and gardens. The lodge was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for both children and adults. The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed spotting wildlife like deer, rabbits, and badgers. The hosts were accommodating and provided a cot and highchair for us.

I appreciated the little touches, like a well-stocked pantry and useful items scattered around the place. the beds were comfortable, and the Bluetooth speakers in the roof were a great addition. the hosts were also very friendly and helpful. a great experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The hot tub made a humming noise that could be heard in the bedrooms, making it difficult to sleep. The lack of instructions on how to turn off the hot tub or stop the noise was frustrating.
